Creative Writing Workshop: Imagery and Mood

Sands Point Preserve is offering a new creative writing workshop series in collaboration with The Story Round, a Port Washington-based provider of writing workshops. The Story Round will provide all writing materials, and participants should just come with their imagination. The Imagery and Mood workshop will explore the beauty of the Sands Point Preserve through the art of descriptive and reflective writing. Through guided observations of the natural world, writers will engage all of their senses to create original works inspired by the grounds and by personal experiences. Admission, which includes parking and all fees, is $30 for members and $35 for nonmembers.
