THURSDAY, JULY 25

The Rosé Soirée 2024

6 p.m. – 9 p.m. (The Garden City Hotel, 45 Seventh Street, Garden City) Join us for an enchanting evening at our Annual Rose Soiree. Guests will receive 2 drink tickets for The Patio Bar for wine, beer, froze or specialty cocktail of the night, full access to wine tastings, hors d’oeuvre stations, a complimentary raffle ticket for exciting prizes and giveaways upon arrival and LIVE music entertainment all night long! The Feast of St. Rocco in Glen Cove

6 p.m. start (Church of St. Rocco, 18 3rd St, Glen Cove) St. Rocco’s Feast, one of the largest annual celebrations of Italian culture on Long Island, takes over Glen Cove for five days and nights with carnival rides and fireworks, marching bands and magicians, and plenty of wonderful food. Enjoy sausage and pepper sandwiches, homemade pasta and sauces, a pastry pavilion, games, rides, live music, and vendors. Parking is available on the surrounding streets. The fest is within walking distance from the Glen Street train station in Glen Cove. This fair will run every day until July 28.

FRIDAY, JULY 26

Power to Feed Long Island Food Drive

9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Stop & Shop on 95 Old Country Rd., Carle Place) PSEG Long Island and Island Harvest Food Bank thank the people of Massapequa and the surrounding communities for donating the equivalent of more than 1,800 meals at PSEG Long Island’s Power to Feed Long Island food collection on Friday, May 24. The event was the first in a summer-long food drive initiative. For additional information on PSEG Long Island’s Power to Feed Long Island, visit psegliny.com/feedLI. Upcoming drop-off dates include Friday, Aug. 16 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Stop & Shop on 3577 Long Beach Rd., Oceanside.
