The trendy eyeglass store Warby Parker recently opened to great fanfare at 1950 Northern Blvd. at the Gate at Manhasset. The frames are all unisex and can be set with any lenses, including sunglasses, readers, transitions and progressives. The materials range from barely-there wire-rims to lightweight molded acetate, with shapes and styles to satisfy even the most image conscious.
The store staff is attentive and helpful, going out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. Warby Parker also has an onsite optometrist, giving guests a one-stop shopping experience. Frames are prepared and can then be shipped or picked up in-store. They offer contact lenses as well.
New this season is the Trace line, which combines both metal and acetate for a striking finish. Also for 2024, he summer collection pairs retro shapes of the 60s and 70s with modern materials in shades of muted mint and select earthtones.
Through their buy a pair, give a pair program, Warby Parker distributes glasses to people in more than 75 countries all over the world who would not otherwise receive them.
Warby Parker is open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. They are in-network for many vision insurance plans. The frames come with a lifetime of free adjustments and have a 30-day hassle free return policy. Contact (516) 217-3590 for more information.
