The annual Youth Awards Presentation by the Kiwanis Club of North Shore took place on Wednesday, June 17 at the Greenvale Diner, Greenvale NY. Four very deserving eighth-grade students were the honorees for this award, and were selected by the school based on their outstanding academic achievements throughout their middle school years.
The students were accompanied by their parents at the dinner and representing the North Shore Middle School was school counselor Flavia Finning who prepared the presentation script that was read for each of the students.
Pictured are the honorees with their plaques after the formal ceremony took place are Finley O’Keefe, Giavonna Reyes, Councilor Flavia Finnin, Samantha Maffei, Lily Bombardiere and Kiwanis President Roger Hill.
