Kathleen’s PRC Teddy Bear Picnic

5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. (232 Main St., Landmark West Lawn, Port Washington) Enjoy our annual family picnic with music by Music for Aardvarks and Bach to Rock, a craft with the Science Museum of Long Island, PRC craft tables, a bear vet station, face painting and tattoos. We will also have pizza available for purchase. You can bring your blanket, chairs, picnic, and teddy bear. Krafty Hands will offer a stuff-a-bear activity for purchase (pre-order in advance – bears are limited and may run out). For $15, choose a 16″ bear and a t-shirt to decorate for the bear. Children will stuff the bears themselves – it’s fun and helps develop motor skills.

Port Promenade

The ultimate Port Washington Block Party packed with family fun, music, and games and activities for all ages includes a fashion show, kids’ messy zone, lawn games and corn hole, mini golf, Touch-A-Truck and more. Main Street closes from Port Washington Boulevard to Mackey Avenue. Free parking on side streets and commuter lots after 3 p.m.
