PB&J Galore: North Shore Key Club Volunteers

By Julia Salat

The North Shore Key Club lends a hand annually to the Kiwanis Bike Ride Challenge event that took place on Sunday, June 30 hosted by the North Shore Kiwanis Club. To support the Kiwanis Club, Key Club members made 150 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, (a favor item by the bicyclist) in 1 hour at North Shore High School.

The Key Club forms an assembly line to complete the sandwiches

The Kiwanis event was very successful and raised thousands of dollars for various charities the Kiwanis Club supports. A special thank you to Kiwanian Linda Ballance who assisted adviser Julia Salat to coordinate the event.
