A Taste of Italy
The New Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual Italian-themed networking event at Uncle Bacala’s, 2370 Jericho Turnpike, Garden City Park. Part of the Village of Mineola’s summer Concerts in the Park series. 7:30 p.m. at Mineola Memorial Park Amphitheater. Free. Concertgoers should bring their own lawn chairs or beach blankets for their viewing comfort. All Mineola families and friends are encouraged to come.

Westbury’s Got Talent: Sunny Days and Starry Nights

Featuring keynote speaker Anthony Robles, a three-time all-American wrestler who won the 2010-2011 NCAA individual wrestling championship despite being born with one leg. 8:30 a.m. at Nassau Community College, 1 Education Dr, Garden City. $35 per person. All proceeds benefit FCA’s scholarship program.
