The U.S. News and World Report released its 2024 rankings for the best U.S. high schools and Manhasset Secondary School ranked third on Long Island, 32 in the New York metro area and 23 in New York State. The rankings are based on student performance on standardized tests, graduation rates and college readiness.
Manhasset also ranked 11th in STEM high schools nationwide and 177 in the national rankings, obtaining an overall score of 99 out of 100. Additionally, the school received an award badge that recognizes schools for their “educational excellence,” as U.S. News states on their website.
