Grenville Baker Boys And Girls Club Kids Spreading Kindness

Kids from Grenville Baker Boys and Girls Club spread kindness during spring recess by donating 100 pairs of cute and cozy pajamas by Pink Elephant Brands to Cohen Children’s Medical Center.

Liz Kakar, co-founder of Pink Elephant Brands, generously donated 567 pairs of fun and unique pajamas to Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club. After the Club’s giveaway on Tuesday, April 16 (National Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day) there were still plenty to share with the children at Cohen.

Jennifer Simonetti, DNP, RN, NPD, -BC, CPN, director of nursing along with other nursing staff graciously accepted the donation on behalf of Cohen. “This donation allows us to offer our young patients a level of comfort while here in the hospital,” said Jennifer Simonetti.

“This is a great opportunity for our members to pay it forward to other kids who are going through stressful times,” said Ramon Reyes, executive director, Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club.
