Local Libraries Participate In The Fill A Backpack Program

From now till Friday, Aug. 16, New York State Senator Jack Martins is leading a donation drive to collect brand-new, back-to-school items for local families.

Local libraries are partnering with Senator Martins as a drop-off locations. School supplies such as backpacks, notebooks, pencils, lunchboxes, calculators and more are welcome.

The donations are being given to The Little House Community center to help better the academic futures of Long Island students.

You can drop off your donation at any of the following locations:

East Williston Public Library
2 Prospect Street, East Williston

Williston Park Public Library
495 Willis Ave., Williston Park

Floral Park Public Library
17 Caroline Place, Floral Park

Shelter Rock Public Library
165 Searingtown Road, Albertson

Hillside Public Library: 155 Lakeville Road, New Hyde Park

Jericho Public Library: 1 Merry Ln.

You can drop off your donation at all the Great Neck Library locations:

Main Branch: 159 Bayview Ave.
Station Branch: 26 Great Neck Rd., 2nd Level
Parkville Branch: 10 Campbell St.
Lakeville Branch: 475 Great Neck Rd.
