An Elmont man has died due to injuries sustained in an accident over the weekend in Garden City.
Sanan Malik, 28, was operating a 2021 Kawasaki motorcycle when he collided with a 2007 Lexus on Old Country Road near Prescott Street – right off of the “Mott Section” neighborhood – at around 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Malik was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the Lexus, a 66-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The police investigation is ongoing.
