Councilwoman Dalimonte Visits Roslyn Grist Mill

On Thursday, April 11, 2024, Town of North Hempstead Councilwoman (District 6), Mariann Dalimonte, and Legislative Aide Erin Molyneux visited the Roslyn Landmark Society to meet with representatives of the organization and tour the Roslyn Grist Mill. Co-President Howard Kroplick, along with Executive Director Jaime Karbowiak, Project Director Jennifer Lister, and graduate intern Elizabeth Macaluso, were delighted to meet with the Councilwoman and provide exciting news, updates, and plans for the Roslyn Grist Mill and other preservation and educational initiatives currently underway under the Roslyn Landmark Society’s guidance and stewardship.

Councilwoman Dalimonte was elected to the 6th Council District in 2019 and is a fourth-generation resident of Port Washington with an extensive record of community involvement and support of educational, environmental, and beautification efforts. Following recent redistricting in the Town of North Hempstead, Councilwoman Dalimonte’s 6th District now includes the villages of Roslyn and Roslyn Estates in addition to the Village of Flower Hill.
